Layout
Entering the fenced stairway on street level, you can already breathe the history of this building, situated a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Vondelpark and lively Leidseplein. On the fourth floor, you will enter apartment D.
Once you set foot in the hall of the apartment, you instantly sense this can be a place to feel at home. The hall gives entrance to the living room, a separate toilet and a place where washing machine and dryer are situated.
The living room is a bright and open space. In the middle, a cozy lounge is created with luxury couches, a warm and soft carpet, a Travertin natural stone coffee table and a stylish TV with cabinet.
On the back side of the apartment you find a nice wooden dining table with six comfortable chairs. Imagine yourself dining here with friends while enjoying your favorite wine.
Next to the table you find the elegant open plan kitchen. It includes everything you need to prepare your delicious dinners; a microwave / oven, quooker, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and plenty of storage space. All hidden behind the stylish black matte look.
On the front of the apartment there is an extra seating area with two pleasant seats and a small coffee table. An ideal place to read your book quietly or enjoy the unique view on the canal. The fireplace ornament reminds you of the historic ambiance this building breathes.
Adjacent to the seating area a study room is situated. A firm wooden desk, comfortable office chair and lots of daylight make sure this is the ideal place to work from home.
Stunning wooden stairs with led light hidden in the banister bring you to the upper floor, where the corridor takes you to the master bedroom, the spare bedroom and the bathroom.
Entering the large master bedroom on the frontside of the apartment you immediately notice its high ceiling, with original wooden beams that once again reminds us that this is an historic building. A gorgeous wooden bed in the middle and a lounge seat make this room a true lush area where you can have a good night sleep, relax or just stay in.
Next to the master bedroom the bathroom is situated. It has a modern double washbasin with cabinet, an extra toilet and a modern shower. All decorated with marble tiles.
At the back of the apartment you find the second bedroom. It also has a pleasant bed and a lounge chair. There’s a built-in wardrobe and plenty of storage space.
A beautiful herringbone wooden floor, dimmable built-in lights and beautiful doors with matching door fittings can be found through the entire apartment, giving it an overall lush and warm feel.
The apartment is equipped with high-speed internet, a water purification installation, a high-quality ventilation system and have an A+ energy rating.
Location
Quietly yet very centrally located on one of the most beautiful canals in Amsterdam; the Singel canal. Located in the UNESCO-designated canal area. The house is located between the ever-popular Leidseplein and the famous and beautiful Vondelpark.
An environment with an extensive range of art, culture, and a wide range of specialty and delicatessen shops within walking distance. Many residents experience living in this area as an ideal mix of dynamism, tranquility, and village character.
Accessibility
Accessible by public transport by tram on Leidseplein and within walking distance of metro station Rokin and Vijzelgracht. The North-South line has an optimal connection with, among other things, the South Axis and Central Station.
Public parking on the street. A short waiting list for a parking permit. Parking in the adjacent Hirsch building may be available on request or otherwise in the Q-Park parking on the other side of the canal.
