Various parks such as the Amstelpark, Beatrixpark, Gijsbrecht van Aemstelpark and the Amsterdamse Bos are within walking and cycling distance. The city center of Amsterdam is also easily accessible by bicycle or public transport. There are many facilities nearby, including various sports facilities (gym in the basement of the complex).
